I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and had a creative mind even longer. I've been drawing, painting, and creating since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and when I got in trouble I would get my art supplies taken away instead of getting grounded! My jewelry making started in elementary school with crazy complicated rainbow loom bracelets and figurines. In 2020, right after we went into lockdown for the pandemic, I discovered wire wrapping and friendship bracelets. I started my little business on depop as "knottedbyari" (the OGs know!!) and continued that through middle school. I had grown to over 10,000 followers, which were big numbers for a 12/13 year old!! Unfortunately my account got hacked and I was unable to get it back, so my creative spark died off for a while. I started back up as Ari Creates Co at the end of my freshman year of high school and shortly after that I started doing TikTok and had my big break! At the time, jewelry was just a little side hustle. I did a few pop ups and made a good amount of sales, but felt stuck trying to handle a full college course load, highschool classes, working until 9pm right after school, etc. I did a few more reopenings here and there for a few weeks whenever I had time, but up until now, the last one was in 2024 and was cut short by a suprise hospitalization due to mono (eek!).
As of right now (8/5/26) I turn 19 in exactly two weeks, I graduate with my Bachelors degree in Health Science in May, have been a gymnastics coach for almost 6 years, and have experienced so much trying to learn who I am as an adult and how to be on my own. I've always been very good at saving but after being out of work for 6 weeks from surgery and becoming a homeowner, I gained a seat on the struggle bus. However, I am so grateful, because that hardship turned into this! Me and my boyfriend, Adam, were sitting on the couch having our daily discussion of budgeting and trying to figure out how we were going to afford living on our own. But this time when he suggested that I start up my jewelry business again, it was like a firework went off in my head and I immediately perked up and got to work! It truly lit a fire in me and I cannot wait to share all my ideas for the future!
